Little Story about Karson

This picture doesn't have anything to do with the post this time, BUT I had to write about a little moment I had with the kids the other day. We were at the new house with the realtor taking down for sale signs. The realtor had a question for the previous renter, So he called him. The guy happened to be across the street. While we were standing there the guy kept talking to the kids. I should clarify this guy was quite a character. He was wearing a bandana on his head. He had a t-shirt on that said Kellys Roadhouse bar, and a bracelet that said things, I can't repeat. He obviously looked like a motorcycle guy. Aside from that he acted as if he was on something. Needless to say I could tell the kids were noticing all of this. "Even the bracelet".

The guy kept talking to the kids and asking them questions - "Dumb Questions"!!!
And of course the kids answered him with hesitance with each question.

After some time the guy turned directly to Karson and said "Do you want to go for a ride on my bike"?

As you can imagine my heart fell to my knees. I knew I was going to have to tell the guy that she could not go. But it turns out I didn't have to say anything.
I was shocked to hear a very abrubt and loud "NO", come out of Karsons mouth.

I told her later I was proud of her and that she made a good choice. She just said, "Mom I knew when he said bike he meant motorcycle". SO I made sure to explain that the biggest reason I was proud of her is because he was someone we didn't know.
