A list of things the kids have said that I want to remember.
Karson brought me the calendar today and showed me that Great Grandma Dalton's birthday was coming up soon. She said "How are we going to celebrate if she's not even here??? What are we going to do that day? July 13 2009
December,21,2008 Karson gave Logan's talk in primary today. She did a good job. Logan couldn't get himself to stand in front of everyone so we bribed her to do the talk. She also had the scripture today so she did both.
"Hey Momma" Logan thinks he's funny --- When he is in a good mood he calls me momma. [Logan]
"Cinderella's not real??????" I wish you could have seen her face. We were learning about fiction and non -fiction. I really burst her bubble that day. I felt bad. You could see it upset her to hear that. [Karson]
"I am happy we moved because of my friend Cory" [Karson]
They taste so good, I think we will go get more!!!
This is our boer goat "LILLY"
Stevie
This is our Nubian Buck. Dalton named him Steve Irwinn. We thought Irwinn was an ok name for him but Steve is easier to say, So it has stuck. Logan for some reason has to be different, He calls him Ernie. Don't ask me where that came from. As for the goat, If anyone ever considers getting a male goat, "Call me first"!!! The more mature they get they get..............Well we'll just say they are not a pleasant pet to have when they are in the rut. YUCK!!!!
Moose
Patch
Goodbye Patchie. This is the baby that Lilly and Steve had this last spring. He was cute but not very useful for breeding, so he had to be sold. The kids are learning what having a farm is all about. Dalton seemed the most bugged with him leaving. But I am sure we will have more baby goats in the near future. Apparantly spanish people like to eat goat soup. So I guess you could say it was the first profit we have made on our little farm. They paid us 90.00 for him.
Spring 2008
Our Boer Goat "Lilly" unexpectedly gave birth to two babies on Sat. April 5th. This was a new expeirence for all of us. One of the babies didn't make it, but the other one is doing great. "Spring is in the air"!!!
